O Messenger. sufficient unto thee is Allah,- (unto thee) and unto
those who follow thee among the Believers. [8:64]
O Messenger. rouse the Believers to the fight. If there are twenty
amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred:
if a hundred, they will vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers: for
these are a people without understanding. [8:65]
O Messenger. say to those who are captives in your hands: "If Allah
findeth any good in your hearts, He will give you something better
than what has been taken from you, and He will forgive you: for Allah
is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful." [8:70]
O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the Hypocrites,
and be firm against them. Their abode is Hell,- an evil refuge
indeed. [9:73]
O Prophet! Fear Allah, and hearken not to the Unbelievers and the
Hypocrites: verily Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom. [33:1]
O Prophet! Say to thy Consorts: "If it be that ye desire the life of
this World, and its glitter,- then come! I will provide for your
enjoyment and set you free in a handsome manner. [33:28]
O Prophet! Truly We have sent thee as a Witness, a Bearer of Glad
Tidings, and Warner,- [33:45]
O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast
paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the
prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of
thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles
and aunts, who migrated (from Makka) with thee; and any believing
woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to
wed her;- this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large);
We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the
captives whom their right hands possess;- in order that there should
be no difficulty for thee. And Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most
Merciful. [33:50]
O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women,
that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when
abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such)
and not molested. And Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful. [33:59]
O Prophet! When believing women come to thee to take the oath of
fealty to thee, that they will not associate in worship any other
thing whatever with Allah, that they will not steal, that they will
not commit adultery (or fornication), that they will not kill their
children, that they will not utter slander, intentionally forging
falsehood, and that they will not disobey thee in any just matter,-
then do thou receive their fealty, and pray to Allah for the
forgiveness (of their sins): for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most
Merciful. [60:12]
O Prophet! When ye do divorce women, divorce them at their prescribed
periods, and count (accurately), their prescribed periods: And fear
Allah your Lord: and turn them not out of their houses, nor shall
they (themselves) leave, except in case they are guilty of some open
lewdness, those are limits set by Allah. and any who transgresses the
limits of Allah, does verily wrong his (own) soul: thou knowest not
if perchance Allah will bring about thereafter some new situation.
[65:1]
O Prophet! Why holdest thou to be forbidden that which Allah has made
lawful to thee? Thou seekest to please thy consorts. But Allah is Oft-
Forgiving, Most Merciful. [66:1]
O Prophet! Strive hard against the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites,
and be firm against them. Their abode is Hell,- an evil refuge
(indeed). [66:9]
