What Quran Says About Pledge?

Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. [74:38] Except the Companions of the Right Hand. [74:39] (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, [74:40] And (ask) of the Sinners: [74:41] "What led you into Hell Fire?" [74:42] They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; [74:43] "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent; [74:44] "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; [74:45] "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, [74:46] "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." [74:47] Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. [74:48]

And those who believe and whose families follow them in Faith,- to them shall We join their families: Nor shall We deprive them (of the fruit) of aught of their works: (Yet) is each individual in pledge for his deeds. [52:21] And We shall bestow on them, of fruit and meat, anything they shall desire. [52:22] They shall there exchange, one with another, a (loving) cup free of frivolity, free of all taint of ill. [52:23] Round about them will serve, (devoted) to them. Youths (handsome) as Pearls well-guarded. [52:24] They will advance to each other, engaging in mutual enquiry. [52:25] They will say: "Aforetime, we were not without fear for the sake of our people. [52:26] "But God has been good to us, and has delivered us from the Penalty of the Scorching Wind. [52:27] "Truly, we did call unto Him from of old: truly it is He, the Beneficent, the Merciful!" [52:28]
