What Quran Says About Nearest?

That this is indeed a Quran Most Honourable, [56:77] In Book well-guarded, [56:78] Which none shall touch but those who are clean: [56:79] A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. [56:80] Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? [56:81] And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? [56:82] Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- [56:83] And ye the while (sit) looking on,- [56:84] But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- [56:85] Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- [56:86] Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? [56:87] Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, [56:88]

Woe, that Day, to those that deny- [83:10] Those that deny the Day of Judgment. [83:11] And none can deny it but the Transgressor beyond bounds the Sinner! [83:12] When Our Signs are rehearsed to him, he says, "Tales of the ancients!" [83:13] By no means! but on their hearts is the stain of the (ill) which they do! [83:14] Verily, from (the Light of) their Lord, that Day, will they be veiled. [83:15] Further, they will enter the Fire of Hell. [83:16] Further, it will be said to them: "This is the (reality) which ye rejected as false! [83:17] Day, verily the record of the Righteous is (preserved) in 'Illiyin. [83:18] And what will explain to thee what 'Illiyun is? [83:19] (There is) a Register (fully) inscribed, [83:20] To which bear witness those Nearest (to Allah.. [83:21]

Truly the Righteous will be in Bliss: [83:22] On Thrones (of Dignity) will they command a sight (of all things): [83:23] Thou wilt recognise in their faces the beaming brightness of Bliss. [83:24] Their thirst will be slaked with Pure Wine sealed: [83:25] The seal thereof will be Musk: And for this let those aspire, who have aspirations: [83:26] With it will be (given) a mixture of Tasnim: [83:27] A spring, from (the waters) whereof drink those Nearest to Allah. [83:28]

When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, [56:1] Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming.

[56:2] (Many) will it bring low; (many) will it exalt; [56:3] When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, [56:4] And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, [56:5] Becoming dust scattered abroad, [56:6] And ye shall be sorted out into three classes. [56:7] Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? [56:8] And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? [56:9] And those Foremost (in Faith) will be Foremost (in the Hereafter). [56:10] These will be those Nearest to Allah. [56:11]

Christ disdaineth nor to serve and worship Allah, nor do the angels, those nearest (to Allah.: those who disdain His worship and are arrogant,-He will gather them all together unto Himself to (answer). [4:172]

Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah. [3:45]

Moses said: "O Pharaoh! I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds,- [7:104] One for whom it is right to say nothing but truth about God. Now have I come unto you (people), from your Lord, with a clear (Sign): So let the Children of Israel depart along with me." [7:105] (Pharaoh) said: "If indeed thou hast come with a Sign, show it forth,- if thou tellest the truth." [7:106] Then (Moses) threw his rod, and behold! it was a serpent, plain (for all to see)! [7:107] And he drew out his hand, and behold! it was white to all beholders! [7:108] Said the Chiefs of the people of Pharaoh: "This is indeed a sorcerer well- versed. [7:109] "His plan is to get you out of your land: then what is it ye counsel?" [7:110] They said: "Keep him and his brother in suspense (for a while); and send to the cities men to collect- [7:111] And bring up to thee all (our) sorcerers well-versed." [7:112] So there came the sorcerers to Pharaoh: They said, "of course we shall have a (suitable) reward if we win!" [7:113] He said: "Yea, (and more),- for ye shall in that case be (raised to posts) nearest (to my person)." [7:114]

He said: "Yea, (and more),- for ye shall in that case be (raised to posts) nearest (to my person)." [26:42] Moses said to them: "Throw ye - that which ye are about to throw!" [26:43] So they threw their ropes and their rods, and said: "By the might of Pharaoh, it is we who will certainly win!" [26:44] Then Moses threw his rod, when, behold, it straightway swallows up all the falsehoods which they fake! [26:45] Then did the sorcerers fall down, prostrate in adoration, [26:46] Saying: "We believe in the Lord of the Worlds, [26:47] "The Lord of Moses and Aaron." [26:48]
