What Quran Says About Account?

Closer and closer to mankind comes their Reckoning: yet they heed not and they turn away. [21:1]
They say: "Our Lord! hasten to us our sentence (even) before the Day of Account!" [38:16]
"Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. [26:113]
On their account no responsibility falls on the righteous, but (their duty) is to remind them, that they may (learn to) fear Allah. [6:69]
Then are men returned unto Allah, their protector, the (only) reality: Is not His the command? and He is the swiftest in taking account. [6:62]
To Allah belongeth all that is in the heavens and on earth. Whether ye show what is in your minds or conceal it, Allah Calleth you to account for it. He forgiveth whom He pleaseth, and punisheth whom He pleaseth, for Allah hath power over all things. [2:284]
He it is that cleaveth the day-break (from the dark): He makes the night for rest and tranquillity, and the sun and moon for the Reckoning (of time): Such is the judgment and ordering of (Him), the Exalted in Power, the Omniscient. [6:96]
It is He Who made the sun to be a shining glory and the moon to be a light (of beauty), and measured out stages for her; that ye might know the number of years and the count (of time). Nowise did Allah create this but in truth and righteousness. (Thus) doth He explain His Signs in detail, for those who understand. [10:5]
The life of this world is alluring to those who reject faith, and they scoff at those who believe. But the righteous will be above them on the Day of Resurrection; for Allah bestows His abundance without measure on whom He will. [2:212]
But the Unbelievers,- their deeds are like a mirage in sandy deserts, which the man parched with thirst mistakes for water; until when he comes up to it, he finds it to be nothing: But he finds Allah (ever) with him, and Allah will pay him his account: and Allah is swift in taking account. [24:39]
The Religion before Allah is Islam (submission to His Will): Nor did the People of the Book dissent therefrom except through envy of each other, after knowledge had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling to account. [3:19]
And there are, certainly, among the People of the Book, those who believe in Allah, in the revelation to you, and in the revelation to them, bowing in humility to Allah. They will not sell the Signs of Allah for a miserable gain! For them is a reward with their Lord, and Allah is swift in account. [3:199]
Say: "O ye my servants who believe! Fear your Lord, good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world. Spacious is Allah's earth! those who patiently persevere will truly receive a reward without measure!" [39:10]
Soon will his account be taken by an easy reckoning, [84:8]
Those who join together those things which Allah hath commanded to be joined, hold their Lord in awe, and fear the terrible reckoning; [13:21]
To these will be allotted what they have earned; and Allah is quick in account. [2:202]
That Allah may reward them according to the best of their deeds, and add even more for them out of His Grace: for Allah doth provide for those whom He will, without measure. [24:38]
For those who respond to their Lord, are (all) good things. But those who respond not to Him,- Even if they had all that is in the heavens and on earth, and as much more, (in vain) would they offer it for ransom. For them will the reckoning be terrible: their abode will be Hell,- what a bed of misery! [13:18]
That Allah may requite each soul according to its deserts; and verily Allah is swift in calling to account. [14:51]
"He that works evil will not be requited but by the like thereof: and he that works a righteous deed - whether man or woman - and is a Believer- such will enter the Garden (of Bliss): Therein will they have abundance without measure. [40:40]
Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! [38:53]
Recompense from thy Lord, a gift, (amply) sufficient, [78:36]
"I did really understand that my Account would (One Day) reach me!" [69:20]
"It may be that my Lord will give me something better than thy garden, and that He will send on thy garden thunderbolts (by way of Reckoning) from heaven, making it (but) slippery sand!- [18:40]
"O our Lord! cover (us) with Thy Forgiveness - me, my parents, and (all) Believers, on the Day that the Reckoning will be established! [14:41]
"Thou causest the night to gain on the day, and thou causest the day to gain on the night; Thou bringest the Living out of the dead, and Thou bringest the dead out of the Living; and Thou givest sustenance to whom Thou pleasest, without measure." [3:27]
They ask thee what is lawful to them (as food). Say: lawful unto you are (all) things good and pure: and what ye have taught your trained hunting animals (to catch) in the manner directed to you by Allah. eat what they catch for you, but pronounce the name of Allah over it: and fear Allah. for Allah is swift in taking Account. [5:4]
Make trial of orphans until they reach the age of marriage; if then ye find sound judgment in them, release their property to them; but consume it not wastefully, nor in haste against their growing up. If the guardian is well-off, Let him claim no remuneration, but if he is poor, let him have for himself what is just and reasonable. When ye release their property to them, take witnesses in their presence: But all-sufficient is Allah in taking Account. [4:6]
When a (courteous) greeting is offered you, meet it with a greeting still more courteous, or (at least) of equal courtesy. Allah takes careful account of all things. [4:86]
Send not away those who call on their Lord morning and evening, seeking His face. In naught art thou accountable for them, and in naught are they accountable for thee, that thou shouldst turn them away, and thus be (one) of the unjust. [6:52]
If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! [23:117]
Then it will be for Us to call them to account. [88:26]
We shall set up scales of justice for the Day of Judgment, so that not a soul will be dealt with unjustly in the least, and if there be (no more than) the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it (to account): and enough are We to take account. [21:47]
(It will be said to him:) "Read thine (own) record: Sufficient is thy soul this day to make out an account against thee." [17:14]
That Day will every soul be requited for what it earned; no injustice will there be that Day, for Allah is Swift in taking account. [40:17]
"And that I had never realised how my account (stood)! [69:26]
Whether We shall show thee (within thy life-time) part of what we promised them or take to ourselves thy soul (before it is all accomplished),- thy duty is to make (the Message) reach them: it is our part to call them to account. [13:40]
See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? (Where) Allah commands, there is none to put back His Command: and He is swift in calling to account. [13:41]
We have made the Night and the Day as two (of Our) Signs: the Sign of the Night have We obscured, while the Sign of the Day We have made to enlighten you; that ye may seek bounty from your Lord, and that ye may know the number and count of the years: all things have We explained in detail. [17:12]
How many populations that insolently opposed the Command of their Lord and of His apostles, did We not then call to account,- to severe account?- and We imposed on them an exemplary Punishment. [65:8]
For that they used not to fear any account (for their deeds), [78:27]
Moses said: "I have indeed called upon my Lord and your Lord (for protection) from every arrogant one who believes not in the Day of Account!" [40:27]
O David! We did indeed make thee a vicegerent on earth: so judge thou between men in truth (and justice): Nor follow thou the lusts (of thy heart), for they will mislead thee from the Path of Allah. for those who wander astray from the Path of Allah, is a Penalty Grievous, for that they forget the Day of Account. [38:26]
"Such are Our Bounties: whether thou bestow them (on others) or withhold them, no account will be asked." [38:39]
(It is the practice of those) who preach the Messages of Allah, and fear Him, and fear none but Allah. And enough is Allah to call (men) to account. [33:39]
